Additional Data

Additional data can be incorporated into your account. Some datasets are free, and some can be purchased. It’s also possible to upload your own data such as sales figures or customer information. Uploading your own data is an advanced option and only available from the Settings menu. When data has been installed in your account you will see headings and switches similar to those shown here.

By flicking these switches you will show or hide that particular dataset from the key/legend.

While colouring a map, the additional data headings will change as a zone increases or decreases in size. The example shows population data by postcode district. The more districts selected in each zone, the higher the population figures will climb in the legend.

An example for where this would be useful is for franchise organisations to work out the population statistics of potential territories to be assigned to franchisees plus many other uses.
