Buy, unlock or renew a map

The editor and saved-map manager use the same payment-dialog design. The selected map and reason for purchase still matter: a new unlock and a renewal are different actions.

  1. Check the product title

Read the map name and whether the dialog says Unlock or Renew. In the saved-map manager it follows the row you selected, which may differ from the map you were editing previously.

  2. Check the current price and terms

The dialog shows the selected offer and its details. Use those figures rather than an example screenshot in this guide; prices, VAT and access periods can change. Read the included information before continuing.

  3. Choose a payment method

Select one of the offered card or PayPal options. This proceeds to the corresponding payment flow; it is not just a colour or style choice. Complete the provider’s steps and wait for the return/confirmation before assuming the map is unlocked.

  4. Questions before buying

Open the questions/FAQ section for the current purchase information. It expands within the dialog and can be folded away again. For an account-specific issue, contact GBMaps with the map type and account email.

  5. Close or Escape

Closes the chooser without selecting a payment method. It returns you to the editor or saved-map page. Closing a chooser is different from cancelling a payment after you have already moved into a provider’s checkout.
