Forgotten your password?
You can choose a replacement password without knowing the old one. The code goes to the email address already associated with your maps. Resetting the password does not delete your designs, use a map credit or renew a licence.
Check the account address
In the sign-in box, choose Set or reset my password. Check the email address carefully, especially if your browser filled it in. Use the purchase address, not a different inbox you now prefer.
Email my verification code
Requests the code and takes you to Check your email. Your old password is not needed on this screen. Requesting a code alone does not replace it; the change happens when a verified new password is successfully saved.
Check the code, save a password, then sign in
Read the email, enter the six digits in this browser and choose Check my code. Choose your new password, click Save my password, then use that new password to sign in. If a password manager offers to update its saved entry, make sure it is updating the GBMaps entry for the right email.
Back to sign in
Use this if you remember the password or started a reset by mistake. The existing password still works unless a replacement has already been saved.
What happens on your other devices
Saving a replacement password signs out older sessions on other browsers and devices. They will need the new password. If a map is open elsewhere, keep the page open, sign in when asked and repeat the save rather than discarding that work.
Cannot use the old email address?
Contact GBMaps with your order or invoice details. We need to establish that the account is yours before changing its address. Do not create another account or buy again to try to recover the old maps. Support will not need you to send your password or a verification code.
Resetting from an old saved-map link
If you arrived through an older link containing storedmap, reset your password as normal and sign in. A valid map belonging to your account should reopen. If that saved map is missing, deleted or belongs to a different account, you will see a helpful recovery page instead of a code error. From there, open My saved maps, start a new map, or choose to switch accounts. Resetting a password does not bypass map ownership checks.
A code arrived that you did not request
Do not share or enter it for anyone else. Requesting a code does not itself change your password, so an unexpected message can be ignored. If you are concerned, return to GBMaps yourself and reset your password from there.
What this looks like
Real GBMaps dialogs with example account details. Choose View larger to read a message clearly.
Use the replacement password for the next sign-in, including on other devices.
