| Landrover wanted a map showing the whole of the UK including Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. They have 133 individual Landrover dealerships across the country and they are grouped into 7 distinct areas e.g. Scotland, North East, North West, Midlands, South East, South West and Floating Dealerships. Each of the 7 areas needed to be shaded in a different colour which tied in with the textual address and contact details tables shown down the left hand side of the design. |

| Each of the 133 dealerships had its own coloured circle with a number in it locating it on the map, there was also a corresponding dot by the side of the corresponding dealerships contact details in the tables on the left. What makes this map even more specific is that each dealership covers it’s own specific postcode area and no dealership areas overlap which may sound simple, however: Each dealership may cover a number of postcode sectors in it’s own district but it may also cover some postcode areas in a different district. Working from a spreadsheet of over 4,000 different postcodes we had to individually select each postcode area and group it with any number of other postcode areas to form a unique shape that signified the actual area that each dealership covered. Oh and not to forget, this all had to be designed following the strict corporate branding guidelines of Landrover. |
