Save, download & share

Choose a download format

Check Print View before exporting: page edges, title, key, hidden layers and annotations all matter. Keep an editable copy by saving it in your account as well.

  1. Adobe PDF

A good choice for printing or sending a finished map as a fixed page layout. Open the created PDF and check its page size, labels and key before printing. It is not the same as reopening the map for territory editing.

  2. PNG image

Useful in reports, documents and web pages when sharp lettering and flat colours matter. It is a raster image: enlarging it beyond its exported resolution can soften edges. Check the small labels at the size you intend to use it, and avoid enlarging the image beyond its original resolution.

  3. JPG image

Useful when you need a widely supported photographic-style image file. JPEG compression can soften small lettering and boundary lines, so PNG or PDF may be a better choice for a detail-heavy map.

  4. SVG for web or design work

Exports the vector artwork. It can remain sharp when scaled in compatible software and is useful for design workflows. The SVG is not a substitute for the tool’s saved account record and settings. Fonts and rendering can vary in other applications.

  5. Excel CSV

Exports map assignment data for a spreadsheet rather than a picture of the map. Use it to review or reuse postcode-to-territory information. It does not preserve the complete page design in the way an editable saved map does.

  6. PowerPoint (.pptx)

Creates a genuine presentation file containing the map on a slide. It is useful for dropping a finished territory map into a meeting deck. See the PowerPoint topic for what is editable and how the artwork is included.

  7. Created: Download Now or Done

When the file is ready, the result message shows its details. Download Now retrieves it to your computer; your browser controls where it is saved. Done closes the result message. Check the downloaded file before sending it on.

  8. If an export is locked or fails

Follow the access/unlock message for the selected map. If an export fails, keep the editor open, save the map if possible and note the exact error. Do not keep repeatedly clicking a busy export button. The troubleshooting topic covers the common checks.
