Find postcodes inside circles

Turn distance rings into a postcode list or coloured territory. The selection is based on the representative centre of each postcode polygon, not on whether any tiny part of its outline touches a circle.

  1. Open Postcodes & import

Expands the tools beneath the ring settings. Folding the section away does not remove the rings or an existing result list.

  2. Find postcodes

Builds a list of postcode areas or districts whose centres fall within the circles. Check the ring centre and distances first. Large rural polygons may cross the circle edge even when their centres fall on the other side.

  3. Postcode, zone list

Shows the result as postcode and zone values. You can select and copy it into a spreadsheet to inspect or use elsewhere. Treat it as an area-based selection, not a list of every individual delivery address.

  4. Colour postcodes

Uses the generated list to colour map polygons. This changes territory assignments; finding or copying a list alone does not. Check the result around the edge of the rings and save a copy before replacing established territories.

  5. Advanced import

Opens the separate bulk circle importer where available for the account. Use it when you have multiple centres and ring settings ready in a spreadsheet. It is separate from the advanced dots importer.
