# Upgrades & refunds

Changing your map type and refund questions. These are the service questions from Help & FAQs. For help with an individual setting, use the illustrated menu topics.

## 1. Can I upgrade my map type?

For roads, open Map details and choose Add roads to my map. An active postcode area licence upgrades for £10 plus VAT, districts for £15 plus VAT, and sectors for £20 plus VAT. Your renewal date stays unchanged and your saved maps are kept. Already have roads? There is no extra charge to show them. For other changes of map type, contact GBMaps before buying again.

## 2. Can I downgrade my map?

Sort of. We’ll swap your map type to a simpler type but can’t refund you the difference.

## 3. I don’t use the tool, can I have a refund?

If you haven’t ‘saved’ any maps, we’re happy to give you a full refund. Once you’ve saved a map it’s possible but unlikely. Deleting a saved map afterwards does not make that purchase unused. Contact us with your purchase details if you need help.
