Andrew Scott incorporated GB Maps Ltd. over 8 years ago while working from a small office in his house. As the business took off, larger premises were needed and more designers were taken on. Working out of a suite of offices in the heart of Pickering for the best part of 6 years GB Maps' Location Map Packages became ever more popular. As new products were developed and much bigger clients came across to us from other online mapping suppliers, it was time to move into even bigger premises. We moved out of town and into a Business Unit on the outskirts of Pickering, right on the boundary with the North Yorkshire moors. We have a number of key members of staff who you may find yourself talking to should you call us up or you may receive an email from any of us if you've enquired through our website.

We are a personable bunch of people who don't mind answering any questions you may have regarding maps, location maps, locator maps or anything else mapping related.

Andrew Scott - BSc. Computer Science
Managing Director. Andrew takes care of all things business and is overall creative director for the companies products and services.

Margaret Scott - MA
Accounts - Margaret is the company secretary and accountant. As with all accountants, she's a stickler for detail and NO expenses will be paid unless she get a proper receipt !!

Wendy Graves - BA
Office Manager - Wendy is the newest member of the GB Maps team, taking care of day to day operations and office management.

Craig Spaven - BA, Design Digital Media
Senior Designer - Craig is our Hot-Shot graduate, he brings creativity, speed and originality to our company.

Matthew Snape - BA, Philosophy
Designer - Although the oldest of all our designers, Matthew is not one for stress and is therefore best suited to the role of back-room cartographic work-horse/designer.

Juraj Pavelka - MA, Geography/Cartography
Designer - Juraj is an expert in cartography and geography who's flare and grasp of cartographic principles helps keep our designers 'in-check'.
